I made a reservation at 6 pm and told the manager I would be arriving mid to late evening. Around 945 i called to confirm I would still be able to check in at approximately 1020 and the manager said it would be no problem. The manager (Stephanie) instructed me to contact her at a number to be posted on the door. There was a note on the door when I arrived and I called the number posted as instructed. She answered multiple times and hung up immediately leaving me without a place to stay for the evening. In sum I drove 3.5 hours to stay at this motel after confirming my reservation twice and was deliberately mislead by the manager. I strongly suggest you DO NOT stay here unless you wish to be treated with willful and wanton disrespect.
I originally made a reservation for a single room with two queens for two nights in November; then called in February to request a second two queen room. When I arrived, I was informed that I had a single reservation for a King for 3 nights and that due to a system change they had essentially lost my reservation from November. It was also mentioned that this wasn't the first time a called in reservation was messed up. The best that could be offered to me was that a second king had opened up for the night, and they would give it to me for no charge since they had lost my reservation and had booked someone else in my original room. The manager could not be reached on the phone. I had no choice but to accept the second king due to the number of people we had. When we then spoke with the manager the next morning, I was informed that most people do not make reservations in November for June; except we were in town for the Half Marathon and the majority of the places were booked up and he hoped that the the free room was compensation enough. I also mentioned that there was no smoke detector in our room, and was told to include it in the review. My cousin who was looking to get a room as well called but never received a call back. The good thing was that the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Glacier Lodge, where the finish line for the race was. It would have been a nice place if the manager seemed to care.
just a small motel in east glacier..cheapest place in town ok but nothing special
The room was like a normal motel room but the downside is I almost paid $100 for it. WAY overpriced for what you get. The wifi was non existent. Neither of them worked and I hardly got service either
Great, friendly staff that really cares about you. The rates were incredible for what you get and I had a great time being so close to Glacier National Park. I would really love to stay here again
